The Future Is Bright

Whilst completing the lining of two Landfill Cells at Ballynagran in Southern Ireland at the tail end of 2008, our other Installation Teams have been working at various sites from Workington, Cumbria to Chartham, Kent.  One of the last projects completed in 2008 was the lining of a catchment lagoon for the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston in Berkshire.

The immediate start of 2009 saw the Company installing a lagoon lining at Wighton in North Norfolk, together with an attenuation lining project at Ashtead, Surrey.  Smaller projects included pond lining schemes at Finchampstead, Berkshire and Dorchester, Dorset.

Just completed is a 3,000m2 sewage lagoon for an Anglian Water site near Snetterton, Norfolk.

Site Staff are currently working on a 6,500m2 lagoon lining scheme near Chichester and 3,500m2 moat lining project for a substantial new house near Hambledon Valley in Buckinghamshire.

Despite tough market conditions, we are positive and optimistic, and are pleased with our current order book value exceeding £750,000.

The diverse range of projects to be undertaken includes

~ Linings for Murco Petroleum and for Shell Fuels

~ Further work for Bam Nuttall at the Olympic Park site in Stratford

~ 5,000m2 of lake lining for Berkeley Homes in Stanmore, North London

~ 5,500m2 of attenuation lagoon lining at Red Scar Business Park in Preston

~ 2,800m2 of temporary reflection pond lining for Stage One Creative Services at their Qatar based scheme in the Middle East

Geosynthetic Technology Limited has walked away from bidding against some unsustainable levels of suicide pricing by Competitors.  We consider such pricing practices to be commercially naïve – with the potential to lead to short-cuts and quality concerns.

Remaining positive and optimistic, we welcome enquiries from Past, Present and Prospective Customers.
