Go West – and North – and South – and East!

Also lined in January were three Ponds near Irthington in Cumbria.  This scheme was approved by Natural England – Government Advisors on Wildlife Habitat and Conservation – as it included the habitat transference of Great Crested Newts.

For commencement in mid-February we have a 7,500m² Lagoon to line at the Cirencester Park Polo Club (second photograph).  This long-awaited facility will provide the Club with enhanced irrigation facilities.

On order (following delays resulting from inclement weather) is a contract with Barratt Developments PLC.  We are looking forward to lining three Attenuation Ponds at their new development in Westbury, The Mead.

More Attenuation Ponds and Lakes are to be lined further North – on sites at Shifnal and at Polesworth – for Taylor Wimpey.
We are also heading South – to the Test Valley Golf Club, where we are commencing the supply and installation of a Lining System to a 1,500m² Feature Lake.  We are also to line a 1,350m² Domestic Lake near Littlehampton; within 50-metres of the English Channel!
In the meantime, looking East, we have just installed a Lining System to a 2,000m² Lake at Waltham near Canterbury.  We are also looking forward to imminent projects, which include the lining of a 2,500m² Leach Pad adjacent to Ipswich Docks (third photograph), and a 27,000m²/30,000,000 gallon Irrigation Reservoir at Martlesham near Ipswich.

Our order book for the second quarter of 2020 contains a range of projects and locations, including Ground Sealing (Capping) in Kings Cross, London and Lake Lining in Stonehaven in Scotland – and Geosynthetic Technology Limited is looking forward to another busy year.
