Working directly for Dar Golf Limited, Geosynthetic Technology Limited has recently completed the lining of a new feature-lake built at Warrenpoint Golf Club. The Designer of the project is STRI (Sports Turf Reasearch Institute).

Founded in 1893, Warrenpoint Golf Club lies at the Southern edge of Northern Ireland close to the border with Eire.

The 2,000 square metre lake was lined in four-days, during some particularly wet weather conditions. Because our liner is welded at a level approximately one-metre above formation surface levels, weld quality was maintained and was not affected by wet site areas.

Some 18-months previously, Geosynthetic Technology Limited worked with Dar Golf Limited at the Coolattin Golf Club in Eire, where a 2,500 square metre lake was designed and project-managed by the consultants, Turfgrass IE.
