Geosynthetic Technology Limited has completed various lining projects for the reputable British-based Contractor, Southern Golf Limited. Southern Golf Limited specialises in the construction of new golf courses, and has a contract to construct a new course in Paphos, Cyprus. Southern Golf Limited retained the services of Geosynthetic Technology Limited to line two interconnected lakes and a substantial reservoir, with more than 600 linear metres of streams and cascades. The installation work was undertaken in July, in high temperatures and under clear blue skies. The lakes and streams were lined with our Excelastic 1.00mm liner; a very flexible LDPE-based geomembrane. The reservoir was sealed with an Exceliner 1.50mm polypropylene geomembrane. This exposed-grade product was selected for its excellent long-term stability and resistance to ultraviolet light. The Cyprus project followed a contract for in excess of half-a-million Euros at Bray in Ireland that Geosynthetic Technology Limited undertook for Southern Golf Limited during 2004 to 2006.
