Following what has been commented on as the coldest, snow-ridden Winter in 30-years a slow start to the year has been experienced.  It is just not possible to line snow-covered ground excavations and waterlogged areas.

However, since the first of January 2010 we have secured in excess of £100,000 of orders for a range of projects, in various locations from Cornwall to Cumbria. 

Earlier in the month we took delivery of two new-shape Ford Connect vans, which our Staff report to be more car-like and superior to the previous model.  These have been added to our existing fleet of vehicles, together with a new Mercedes Vito van and Astra van, both of which were purchased at the end of 2009.

We are now looking forward to some dry weather and sunshine – and to being able to get stuck into the new decade.
